Social and Cultural Context
David Morley
Morley suggest that the meaning of the texts will be constructed differently depending on the audience member's position in society, elements like social class, gender, and ethnicity, may determine an individual'scultural tastes.
How might different social groups respond differently to your product?
Different social groups shouldn't rerspond to differently to one another, this is because the narrative is a situatuion anyone from any culture, social class/group could possibly relate to, they might handle the problem differently but due to viewing purposes the response will be similair. the gender of the audince will create the biggest repsonse because how male and females react can be very different. the male audience could possibly sympathise with the male character where as the female audince will judge him negatively which couldn't be argued with.
